1500 Intelligence professionals from across the Canadian Defence Intelligence Enterprise
were called upon to support Canadian Armed Forces operations in Afghanistan
between the years of 2001 - 2014. Most had multiple tours.

Although the majority of intelligence support came in the form of uniformed military intelligence, support also came in the form of civilian intelligence and security services,
supporting the effort from Canada to the frontlines.

For the first time, intelligence practitioners and consumers alike have come together to contextualize their experiences in the delivery and use of intelligence in support to Counterterrorism, Stability, and Counterinsurgency operations.
